Traditional Beef Tamales

Masa: Water, White Corn with Traces of Lime, Lard (BHT and BHA added to protect flavor), Salt, Seasoning (Paprika, Salt, Chili Pepper, Garlic, and Spices). Filling: Beef, Lard (BHT and BHA added to protect flavor), Water, White Corn with Traces of Lime,Green Bell Pepper, Beef Seasoning (Spices, Salt, Onion & Garlic, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein [Hydrolyzed Soy Protein and Safflower Oil], Paprika, Dextrose, Modified Food Starch, Caramel Color with no greater than 2% Silicon Dioxide and/or Soybean Oil added to prevent caking), Beef Flavor (Salt, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein Beef [Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy, Wheat Protein, Sunflower Oil {anti-dusting agent}], Garlic Powder, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Dextrose, Onion Powder, and Spices), Salt, Guajillo Pepper, Cumin, Citric Acid.

Contains: Soy, Wheat, and Sulfites.

Steamer:

Fill steamer around 1/4 full with water, cover and bring to boil. Stack the tamales inside the steamer basket with the open end of the tamale facing upwards. Steam tamales for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until soft and moist (if less than a dozen, steam for less time). Remove the tamales with tongs as they will be hot.

Microwave:

Remove tamales from package and place on a microwaveable safe plate. Cover the tamales with a damp paper towel. Microwave for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until soft and moist.
